The Housing and Real Estate Management program features an innovative combination of construction technology, legal, business, and real estate management content. This study program is unique in Germany.

1st to 4th semester: Study semesters at the university
5th semester: Internship semester
6th to 7th semester: Study semesters at the university
8th semester: Preparation and defense of the diploma thesis

With this knowledge, graduates are excellently suited as intermediaries between architects, civil engineers, and bankers. This provides them with a unique skill set, which is especially sought after by real estate and project developers.

The broad overview of the various service sectors also offers a suitable stepping stone for future specialization.

In the first semesters, students acquire knowledge in real estate law, business administration, economics, and construction technology. Following this, in addition to real estate management expertise in subjects such as housing management, real estate financing, real estate management, and real estate marketing, specialized knowledge in real estate law and construction technology is also gained.

Internship Semester

The internship semester serves to apply the acquired knowledge to real-world business problems. The program is completed with the diploma examination.

My big dream was always to become an architect. So, after my high school graduation, I applied for Housing and Real Estate Management in Dresden, but also in Zittau, my hometown. I was accepted by both, but somehow, in the end, this diploma program in Zittau appealed to me more. And I was more than rewarded for this decision: a great learning atmosphere, professors close to the students, and a multifaceted education have now led me to a promising research project after my graduation.
