Study content
This master's program is unique within Saxony, as it is a cooperative degree program that awards a "Joint Degree" between a university-level institution—the International Institute (IHI) Zittau, a central academic institution of TU Dresden—and a university of applied sciences, the Zittau/Görlitz University of Applied Sciences. This structure enables graduates to obtain a university-level degree, thereby granting them direct access to doctoral studies at IHI Zittau or at another university.
Admission requirements
Bachelor’s degree or higher qualification (from a university, university of applied sciences, university of cooperative education, or another European institution of higher education)
Academic focus in economics or business-related studies
Language proficiency: The majority of courses are taught in German; however, some classes may be offered in English. Applicants are required to demonstrate English language proficiency at level B2 of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR). Proof can be provided, for example, through a certificate of a completed language test, such as the Internet-Based TOEFL Test, the Paper-Based TOEFL Test, the Computer-Based TOEFL Test, or the IELTS Test—unless English is the applicant’s native language and this can be verified by a school-leaving certificate.
For international applicants: Proof of German language proficiency through the DSH (German Language University Entrance Examination for Foreign Applicants) is required.
Student selection is conducted by an admissions committee.
