Clemens Renker, Prof. Dr. Dr. h.c., lehrte marktorientierte Unternehmensführung und Bankmanagement von 1994 bis 2018 an der Hochschule Zittau/Görlitz in Kooperation mit der Exzellenz-Universität TU Dresden IHI. Seit 1984 lehrt er auch an sechs weiteren Universitäten und Hochschulen als Lehrbeauftragter, Gast-Professor und Ehren-Professor.

Er wirkte vier Jahrzehnte erfolgreich in Fach- und Führungssfunktionen u.a. als Direktor, Geschäftsführer, Vorstand, Aufsichtsrat, Hochschulrat, Stiftungsrat und Prodekan in Kreditinstituten, weltmarktführenden Herstellern und Dienstleistern sowie Universität und Hochschulen.

Bisher veröffentlichte er 12 Fachbücher und mehr als 80 Fachaufsätze. Für seine Leistungen in Wirtschaft, Wissenschaft und Gesellschaft wurde er u.a. mit dem Bundesverdienstkreuz, dem Entrepreneur des Jahres Deutschland, dem Award for Entrepreneurship USA, dem Science4Life Cup, JOB-Star der Europäischen Metropolregion Nürnberg, TOP 100 “Innovative” Bayern und der Ehrenamtskarte in Gold des Freistaates Bayern ausgezeichnet.

Nach dem humanistischen Abitur studierte er Volkswirtschaft (Diplom-Volkswirt) und Betriebswirtschaft an den Universitäten Würzburg, Münster (Executive-MBA-Programm) und Sankt Petersburg sowie als Gaststudent Philosophie und Slavistik an den Universitäten Hagen und Bamberg.

Clemens Renker, Prof. Dr. Dr. h.c., taught market-oriented corporate management and bank management from 1994 to 2018 at the University of Applied Sciences Zittau/Görlitz in cooperation with the University of Excellence TU Dresden IHI. Since 1984 he is also teaching at six other universities and colleges as a Adiunct Professor, Visiting Professor and Honorary Professor.

He has successful experience in management positions including director, managing director, board of directors, supervisory board, foundation council and university council in banks, world market leading manufacturers and service providers as well as university and college.

To date, he has published 12 reference books and more than 80 technical papers. For his achievements in business, science and society, he has been awarded the Federal Cross of Merit, the Entrepreneur of the Year Germany, the Award for Entrepreneurship USA, the Science4Life Cup, JOB-Star of the European Metropolitan Region of Nuremberg, TOP 100 "Innovative" Bavaria and the honorary service card in gold of the Free State of Bavaria, among others.

After graduating from high school, he studied economics and business administration at the Universities of Würzburg (Diplom-Volkswirt), Münster (Executive-MBA-Program) and St. Petersburg, as well as philosophy and Slavic studies as a guest student at the Universities of Hagen and Bamberg.
