Einladung zum Fotowettbewerb EN DÉTAIL 2

{englisch Version below}

VORWORT

Call for entries: Photo Competition EN DÉTAIL 2

THESIS
The world is full of details – often hidden in everyday life, overlooked as we pass by, and yet brimming with character, function and beauty. We invite you to discover structures and architecture from an unusual vantage point and to capture them through photography.
We are looking for striking photographs of architectural details: delicate structures, distinctive craftsmanship, technical constructions, ornamental features or surprising solutions. Whether elegant, functional, mystical or curious – focus on those small elements that make buildings and structures unique. A particular focus may be on buildings in the border triangle of Poland, the Czech Republic and Germany or in the LEADER region of the Zittau Mountains.

The competition is open to photography enthusiasts of all ages and school pupils (from the age of 16 onwards). We welcome both classic close-ups and creative macro photographs that open up new perspectives and sharpen our view of our built environment.
Send us photos that do more than just document – they tell a story: of materials and forms, of function and aesthetics, of precision, transience and human creativity. We look forward to seeing your perspectives!
